Vatnaleið road

New 13 km highway across Snæfellsnes, replacing the Kerlingarskarð pass.

Between 2000 and 2003 Suðurverk built a new highway across the Snæfellsnes peninsula, called Vatnaleið, replacing an older passage over Kerlingarskarð. Length 13 km, volume 550,000 m³. Built for the Public Roads Administration (Vegagerðin).
